Dr. Fidel Garcia Fernandez
Pediatrics Emergency Room Physician and Infusion Drip Specialist
Dr. Fidel Garcia Fernandez is from Guatemala City, Guatemala and earned his medical degree from Unversidad Francisco Marroquin. He completed his residency in Pediatrics at SUNY Downstate in Brooklyn, NY and then his fellowship in pediatric emergency medicine at Children’s Hospital of New Jersey. Dr Garcia has an extensive history in healthcare management. He is the founder of Kindfusion, a child friendly hydration company, where he oversees all clinical operations. Dr. Garcia served as a Medical Director at PM Pediatrics Urgent Care for five years and as Director of Pediatric Emergency Services at Richmond University Medical Center in Staten Island, NY. He is currently a pediatric emergency physician at NYU Langone in New York City. Dr Garcia holds an academic appointment as Assistant Professor with the Departments of Emergency Medicine and Pediatrics within the New York University School of Medicine.
Dr Garcia currently lives in downtown Brooklyn, NY and enjoys traveling, soccer, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, 90’s hip hop, and collecting vinyl records. He is fluent in English, Spanish, French, Creole, and Portuguese.
